Through cracks in shrouding walls, a figure seems to peer, as if with words left unsaid. Below stone facades where shadows play, lies untold passage of an inner fray. Here between what's shown and what's concealed, colors speak messages words may not yield.
This piece is a window glimpsing private lands where solace meets with struggles less defined. In layered hues and shapes the psyche leaves its mark, revealing turbulence's contours though outwardly dark. One seeks in abstract form to plot life's twisting road, where spirit rises though by tumult overbowed.
It's my hope this glimpse within may soothe outside storms. That recognizing turmoil's universal forms, some calm may come. For are we not all figure poised 'tween what contains and what's exposed, craving release yet sheltered from life's loads? In shadows that protect yet isolate as well, solace arises knowing not to tell the bells we toll alone, but ring in shared alarms through colors layered on this stone.
