The world is stressful and challenging; according to history books it seems it has always been. But in recent times, it appears the dial has gone up a notch. Crazy wars, inflations, depressions, floods, tsunamis, recessions, pandemics, epidemics. In 2020, during the pandemic, I made a similar painting, which holds a very special place with me. However, I sold it. Shameful how survival displaces your love for these things. Here, I’m making something similar, not the same, but upgraded to how we are faring right now. It’s undoubtedly a jungle out there. Might not have a penthouse in NYC to look out from, but you can look out from your window and see. Make an effort to make your spaces as calm and serene as possible. It’s undoubtedly chaotic out there.
